The dry membrane is water tight, seamless, durable, tough, highly flexible and weather resistant. Gampa AC utilises the latest in acrylic polymerization technology to perform UV resistant membrane with excellent durability even in harsh/hot Middle East climatic conditions. The substrate should be firm, in case of gaps and cracks fill with suitable polyurethane sealant and ensure the surface is level. For most situations, the substrate should be primed with Gampa AC Primer. Gampa AC can be applied as soon asthe primer becomes dry.ApplicationStir well before use. Do not apply if rain is expected within 24 hours. Apply the material using brush or roller. A second coat is applied at right angle after the first coat is dry. It is recommended to apply 2 coats of Gampa AC to get a dry film thickness of 1mm. Multiple coats can be applied to achieve higher thickness. Do not apply greater than 500µm in single application. Embed glass fiber mesh around all corner joints, fillets, pipe penetration, pipes,over cracks, drains and where substantial movement is anticipated, lay fibre glass mesh in the wet first coat before the application of subsequent coats (if necessary).CuringIt requires 24 hours to dry in between 2 coats and 48 hours curing is adequate for foot traffic. Low temperature and high humidity will slow down the curing process. 7 days are required for full cure. In case of expected rains, do not apply Gampa AC. The curing membrane should be protected against damage and site abuse with cement screed after 48 hours of curing. Gampa Bitumen Mastic Sealant

DESCRIPTION Gampa Bitumen Mastic (BM) Sealant is a one component high quality bitumen carried in a hydrocarbon solvent joint sealant, which to improve the application properties.The sealant on curing forms a tough and flexible seal. it has excellent adhesion to concrete, brickwork, asphalt and most construction material substrates. The mastic sealant is modified with non asbestos fibres to make the sealant thixotropic and slump free when applied on vertical areas. Any oil and grease contamination must be removed completely. The surface must be made dry prior to the application of the sealant. Prior to application of primer and sealant, apply masking tape to the adjacent sides of the joints for getting a neat finish and to avoid the spilling over of the sealant on the edges. For most normal situations, priming is not required. However, for very dry and porous surfaces, it is recommended to apply one coat of a solvent based bitumen primer (Gampa Primer SB). Similarly for joints subjected to continuous immersion, priming is recommended. Gampa BM Sealant can be applied as soon as the primer becomes dry.ApplicationThe sealant can be applied by means of a spatula or trowel. As the product is solvented, it is recommended to mix the contents of the pail with a paddle mixer for a few minutes prior to the application to ensure a homogenous mix. Sealant application should start form the bottom of the joint/groove and continued to the top. Immediately tool the joint with the spatula or putty knife to smoothen and compress the sealant to effect total contact with joint surfaces. The putty knife shall be moistened with a cleaning solvent to prevent the sealant to adhere to the knifeand ensuring a smooth and neat finish.Where masking tape has been employed to keep building surfaces clean, it is advisable to remove them at the moment the sealant filling is completed.CuringThe sealant cures on solvent release. The initial surface skinning will occur within 24 - 48 hours, however full cure depends on relative humidity. A 10mm depth of seal will typically cure within 14 - 21 days @23°C @50% rH.Theoretical Coverage: The consumption of Gampa BM Sealant is calculated with the formula:Joint width (mm) x fill depth of the sealant (mm) = ml/m of joint PACKAGING AND YIELDGampa BM Sealant is supplied in 5 or 10kgs pail.Gampa Primer SB is supplied in 20 litres pail.
